Why Tim Tebow Won’t be the New York Jets Savior

Sanchez Tebow Broncos JetsToday has been a nail biter for TIm Tebow and New York Jets fans alike. First, the New York Jets announced a trade for Tim Tebow, who has recently been replaced by Peyton Manning following his release form the Colts. Shortly thereafter, the story leaked that a snafu in the contract details would be holding up the closing of the deal. In addition to the trade agreement, the Denver Broncos are requiring an additional $5 million from the Jets for Tebow. As I write, there has been no official statement about the completion or retraction of the trade agreement. Nonetheless, I am confident when I say that Tim Tebow is not the missing link for our team.

Jets Have a Thing for Pretty Boy Quarterbacks

It was announced last week that the New York Jets might have interest in former Denver Broncos backup quarterback Brady Quinn to possibly compete with Mark Sanchez for the starting quarterback role for next year. I don’t know, maybe it’s me, but of all the quarterbacks to be interested in why Quinn? Sure he had a good preseason this past year, but still ended up as the third string this season before Kyle Orton was let go. In reality he should’ve been backup to Orton instead of Tim Tebow but that’s another topic of discussion altogether. Continue reading
